Lots of people who want to learn guitar get on the internet and search through all of these guitar tab sites to learn songs. But the truth about guitar tabs is that they should not be the only way to learn songs.
It is fine to start learning songs by looking up the lazy man’s sheet music but after a while it gets pretty old. In order to be a good guitar player you need to start learning tunes by using your ears.
Guitar tabs should only be like training wheels. You only use them in the beginning and then you start to develop a feel for what you are learning whether it be riding a bike or playing music.
